Meet Terra Crowl

Are you someone who feels overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, burnout, or low self-esteem, yet still trying to hold everything together? Or are you part of a couple struggling with communication, emotional distance, or healing after betrayal?

My work focuses on attachment trauma—how early relational experiences shape the way we respond to closeness, conflict, and trust in adulthood. I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), ACT, and Motivational Interviewing to support insight, emotional awareness, and lasting change.

You might be wondering...

Yes. I provide therapy to clients in California and Virginia via secure video sessions. Online therapy is just as effective as in-person sessions for most concerns, and many clients prefer the convenience of meeting from home.

Attachment trauma refers to how early relational experiences shape the way we respond to closeness, conflict, and trust in adulthood. These patterns often develop as ways to cope with underlying pain or unmet emotional needs, and they can show up in our relationships, self-esteem, and stress responses.

It depends on your goals and what you’re working through. Some people find relief in just a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term work. We’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy is moving at the right pace for you.

The first session is about getting to know each other. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, your history, and your goals. It’s also a chance for you to see if you feel comfortable working with me.

Ready to take the first step?

If you feel ready for change but unsure where to begin, you don't have to figure it out alone. Therapy can be a space to slow down, understand what you're feeling, and reconnect with what matters most.
